Privacy Policy — Ventas365

This policy explains what personal data Ventas365 handles on its website (ventas365.app) and in its Android and iOS apps, what it is used for and what you can do about it. Ventas365 has two parts: the Market, where people shop at local businesses, and Business, where stores manage their sales.

• Data we collect: Market shoppers: name, ID document (optional), email, mobile number, delivery address, city and a profile photo if you upload one; password (stored encrypted); favorite stores and products; orders and ratings. People who manage a store: the name, email and photo of your Google account, which is how you sign in; your role in the store. Store details: name, type of business, country, address, phone, logo, cover image, opening hours, map location, payment methods and social media. Data the store records about its own customers, suppliers and employees in order to operate: names, ID documents, phone numbers, emails, addresses, purchases and, for employees, the employment information the store chooses to keep. Device location, only if you allow it, to show you nearby stores or place your store on the map. No location history is kept. Camera, only if you allow it, to scan barcodes or take product photos. Images you do not upload never leave your device. Minimal technical data: device and browser type, service error logs and anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed and referring site), with no cookies and no identification of the person.
• What we use the data for: Creating and maintaining your account, and signing you in. Processing orders between shoppers and stores. Letting each store keep track of its sales, inventory, customers, cash and reports. Sending the messages you or the store request: verification codes, password resets, invoices, supplier orders. Providing support and keeping the service secure and running. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
• Who it is shared with: The store you order from: it receives your name, contact details and delivery address to fulfill the order. Providers that make the service work: hosting and database (Supabase), website delivery (Vercel), sign-in (Google), email delivery (Resend), plan payments in Colombia (Wompi) and maps (OpenStreetMap). They only receive what they need to provide their service. Authorities, when required by law. WhatsApp messages open in your own WhatsApp app with the text ready: Ventas365 does not send them for you or read your conversations.
• Data managed by each store: Each store is responsible for the data about its customers, suppliers and employees that it records in Ventas365, and for having those people's consent. Ventas365 stores that data on the store's behalf. If you are a store's customer and want to access or delete your data, you can ask the store or write to us.
• How long we keep it: For as long as your account or the store is active. Sales and invoices are kept for as long as the accounting and tax rules of the store's country require. When an account is deleted, data that does not have to be kept by law is erased or anonymized.
• Your rights: You can view, correct or update your data from your profile. You can also request a copy, the deletion of your account and data, or withdraw a consent, by writing to us through the contact channel below. We reply within 15 business days. Location and camera permissions can be withdrawn at any time from your phone or browser settings.
• Security: Information travels encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored encrypted and access to each store is limited to the accounts its administrator authorizes, with permissions by role.
• Children: Ventas365 is not intended for people under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor gave us their data, write to us so we can delete it.
• Changes and contact: If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here with its date. For any request about your data, write to us on WhatsApp at +57 301 622 6348 or use the support button on the site and in the apps.
